Multiple Deals Signed at 370 Lexington Avenue

Six new tenants have signed leases at 370 Lexington Avenue in a spate of activity that also includes eight renewals at the Sherwood Equities’ property, The Commercial Observer has learned.

Leading the way is a new 3,621-square-foot deal for VINCI Concessions USA Inc., the U.S. arm of the French concessions operator. The tenant was represented by Brett Gartner of Winslow & Company LLC.

Held & Hines signed a 2,410-square-foot deal at the Midtown East property. The law firm, which specializes in personal injury, real estate and contracts cases, currently operates from 2004 Ralph Avenue in Brooklyn. The tenant was represented by Curtis Woodside of Rice & Associates.

The Council for American Education and Culturesecured a similarly sized deal, signing a lease for 2,244 square feet. The non-profit, which will occupy suite 2000, according to its website, was represented by Brett Maslinof Adams & Company.

Sparkling wine producer Freixenet USA has also taken space at 370 Lexington Avenue, signing a 2,128-square-foot lease at the property. Specializing in Spanish wines, Freixenet’s U.S. operations are based in Sonoma, Calif. The tenant was represented by Will Carr of Williamson, Pickett, Gross, Inc.

AMH Equity, an investment advisory firm, and Manhattan Residential, an owner and developer, rounded out the new deals at the building, signing leases for 1,916 square feet and 464 square feet, respectively. AMH Equity was represented by Wayne Siegel of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance. Manhattan Residential was represented in-house by Shai Shustik.

“Our objective at 37 Lexington is to accommodate small businesses, an underserved niche in the city, providing them with Class-A space, good value and quality boutique services in the Grand Central area,” said Adam Weissleder, leasing agent at Sherwood Equities, in a prepared statement. “These leases offer solid evidence that we are succeeding in this objective.”
