Suze Orman sells apartment at Plaza Hotel for $4M
Money maven Suze Orman just sold her one-bedroom apartment at the Plaza Hotel for $4 million, according to city property records.
Orman, a TV personality who doles out financial advice, sold her home for above its $3.995 million asking price.
The news comes as the Plaza Hotel is setto go on the auction chopping block next month, as the Post previously reported.
The one bedroom apartment comes with two bathrooms and was completely renovated. At 1,279 square feet, it features plenty of entertaining space and includes a chef’s kitchen and custom marble bathrooms. The apartment boasts 11 foot ceilings, herringbone floors and custom closets — along with marble walls, millwork paneling and silver leaf crown molding in the living/dining area.
The home is also smart wired with a Lutron electrical lighting and shade system.
The sale included the furniture, window treatments, carpeting, lighting and private storage in the basement.
The listing broker was Charlie Attias, of The Corcoran Group.
Designer Tommy Hilfiger’s apartment, which comes with an original Eloise mural, is still on the market — for $68.95 million, which is significantly less than its $80 million asking price in 2013.
Hilfiger bought the unit for $25.5 million in 2008 and then tried to flip it for $50 million the same year — but there were no takers.
